1 & four 0′s

Today I hit the 10,000km milestone. Thats not a bad effort I reckon. I almost missed it too, I was watching the km’s tick by and stopped at the end of the day just 18km short of the target. Next morning I didn’t remember to check until the clock was at 9999.3km. I thought I’d missed it, got a bit upset at the thought of not getting the pictoral evidence. There isn’t too much to occupy my mind on this part of the world so I do all sort of things that may be considered a little ‘odd’ to keep busy. Thays not to say I’m not enjoying the experience out here it’s just the highway pretty much avoids all the interesting parts of the Pilbara. The road is flat and despite the wind I’m making good time. Should make Exmouth a day earlier than I thought.
