Today I reached Cairns and a few more days off to explore at my leisure, catch up on washing and various other stuff. It’s also pretty much the end of the first leg of my trip, 3200km covered since I left Sydney. I’m going to take the bones of a week off and then I’ll head north to Cape Tribulation and possibly Cooktown if the road is suitabe for cycling. Then south and west along the Savannah Way towards Broome at the other end of the Kimberley
